The Google Play Console revealed how the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 (codename ‘sweet’) is set to be released by Xiaomi The following year.
It is a follow-up to the 2022 Redmi Note 11 Pro with a different chipset and a different camera setup. According to GPC, the 2023 version will be powered by the Snapdragon 712. It’s a chipset that didn’t even impress in 2019, let alone in 2023. The 2022 model wears the Helio G96. The new one may be more efficient, however, as it was built on a 10nm process (versus 12nm for the Helio).
Still, the changed camera layout makes it look exactly like the Redmi Note 10 Pro. The 10 Pro has almost the same camera set as the 11 Pro: 108MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth. The only difference is that the older model had a 5MP macro camera, while the newer one had a 2MP one.
Compared to the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the 11 Pro has faster charging (67W vs. 33W) and a brighter screen (700 nits vs. 450 nits peak), but it’s unclear whether the 2023 model will retain those advantages. Also, the 10 Pro had 4K video recording, which the 11 Pro didn’t.
