The Disney Plus streaming service was launched more than two years ago. Since then it has blossomed (or blossomed?) into one of the most successful services worldwide and celebrates Disney+ Day on September 8th from 6 a.m. What that means?

A strong offer compared to the normal price, which is 8.99 euros per month. But that’s not the only interesting thing for subscribers and those who want to become one.

Disney Plus Day: Ten reboots in one day

The streaming service will also release a lot of content on September 8th. The two biggest starts are Thor: Love and Thunder. The fourth part about the god of thunder, played by Chris Hemsworth, was only released in cinemas a few weeks ago. Thor must defend himself against the powerful Gorr (Christian Bale), who wants to destroy all the gods in the universe. The biggest surprise is certainly the return of Jane (Natalie Portman), who now wields Thor’s hammer Mjolnir.

The second major launch is the remake of a true Disney classic: Pinocchio. Robert Zemeckis (“Back to the Future”) has re-released the film about the wooden doll boy whose nose gets longer as soon as he lies. Tom Hanks can be seen in the film as its creator Geppetto, the cricket Jiminy is voiced by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The trailer already promised a lot, from September 8th we’ll see what the film can hold.

Other highlights include Cars on the Road, the original voice-over based on the franchise, which sees Lightning McQueen and his buddy Hook travel across the country to meet Hook’s sister.

Growing Up is a documentary series by Hollywood star Brie Larson that explores the lives of young adults between the ages of 18 and 22.

Also new is “Tierra Incognita”. A teenager goes to a horror theme park to find his missing parents. There are also “making-ofs” for “Thor: Love and Thunder” and the “Obi-Wan” series – with all the documentaries and short films, there are ten new pieces of content to see on Disney Plus Day.
