Belarusian border guards damage the barbed wire on the border with Latvia in order to throw illegal migrants into the country. This was reported by the Latvian State Border Guard Service, reports Delphi.

5 In October, a group of 12 people gathered in the area of the border Belarusian village of Tabarishkiai: seven illegal immigrants, two border guards with machine guns and three representatives of the special services of Belarus.
Border guards began to cut barbed wire and metal elements of the fence, to break the gate. A few minutes later, migrants entered Lithuania through a gap in the fence, while the Belarusian security forces watched from behind the bushes.
Illegals were detained by the Latvian border guards. Six men and one woman had no documents and introduced themselves as citizens of Iran and Bangladesh. After the procedures, they were returned to Belarus.
